US: Annual Average Hourly Earnings up 1.9% in July
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The US Annual Average Hourly Earnings rose 1.9% in July following a 2.2% increase in June, the US Department of Labor reported today. Analysts expected a 2.2% increase. On a monthly basis Average Hourly Earnings fell by 0.1%, compared with the 0.4% rise and against forecasts of +0.4%.
Average Weekly Hours dropped to 34.4 from 34.5, below expectations of remaining at 34.5.
