USD/CAD lowest close since July

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The USD/CAD finished Thursday trading slightly above 1.0900, posting the lowest close for the current month. A correction of the July employment report will be announced on Friday in Canada, that could have an impact on the Loonie.

On Thursday the pair bottomed at 1.0885 (lowest price in almost two weeks) during the European session and then bounced to the upside. The recovery from the lows found resistance at 1.0915.

In the second half of the American session the USD/CAD moved off session highs and fell toward 1.0900, where it closed posting the third loss out of the last four trading days.

Wall Street closed positive as Ukraine fears relieve

The US stocks market closed positive on Thursday as investors confidence was fueled by the conciliatory statement from Vladimir Putin. Market ignored weaker than expected US economic data in a light volume day.
